Embracing the Journey

Welcome to Paradise Divine VI, where we embark on transformative journeys together. Today, let's dive into the beautiful chaos of healing—a topic dear to my heart and vital for anyone committed to personal growth. Healing is not a straight line. It's more like a winding road with unexpected twists, turns, and yes, sometimes even bumps. This complex middle is where the real magic happens. I'm sure you're wondering; why is it so complex, and how can we navigate it? When you decide to break free from generational dysfunction and heal from past traumas, things often get worse before they get better.

Here’s why:

As you start setting clear boundaries, family and loved ones might resist. They may not understand the new you and might question your motives or even your sanity. This is normal. It takes courage to change. Ceasing to prioritize others' needs (people please) over your own can be shocking to those accustomed to the old dynamics (old you). Expect resistance, but stay the course. When you begin to communicate your needs and desires clearly and honestly, it can create friction. People may misinterpret your new assertiveness as aggression; for this reason consciously speak in a loving and kind manner.

In my journey, I've utilized numerous healing modalities that resonated with me—many of which we incorporated into our healing retreats.

Traditional Talk Therapy offered new tools to process my past & present as well as healthy coping mechanisms.

I incorporated Holistic Practices such as yoga, grounding, meditation and healthy nutrition into my daily routine as well as our retreats to balance the mind, body, and spirit.

Additionally I adopted a growth mindset. Through reading, listening to self-help books & trying new things I gained valuable insights and tools for personal growth.

Creating a new reality and a better life is not about grand gestures; it's about mindfully & consciously daily being the type of person you want to be through daily habits.

While change can be uncomfortable. It's a new norm, which can be inherently unsettling but it's in this discomfort that true growth happens. When loved ones question your journey, when you feel like things are falling apart, know that you're not alone. This is the complex middle of healing, and it's where transformation takes root.

Healing is a journey, not a destination. Embrace the complex middle with all its challenges and triumphs. Each step you take, no matter how small, brings you closer to the life you desire.

Stay loving, stay committed, stay compassionate with yourself, and trust the process. The beautiful chaos of healing is worth every moment. One day you might look back like I did, and wonder why didn't I do this sooner.
